Monkey Feet Daycare Curriculum

About Our Program

We believe in creating a warm, fun, and stimulating environment for your children to develop skills and abilities in reading, writing, math, science, social studies, art, physical health, and social-emotional intelligence.

Play is an integral component of a child's development, and we are committed to providing safe and fun opportunities for indoor and outdoor play. Our curriculum centers around your child learning, having adventure, and discovering their world through the vehicle of play.

At Monkey Feet Daycare, we not only meet Kansas Early Learning Standards; we exceed them. You can expect your child to learn new concepts and ideas every day, as well as how to relate to others in healthy and safe ways. This is done through teaching your children emotional regulation skills (i.e., utilizing the calm corner when upset) and providing daily learning experiences with our advanced social-emotional curriculum.

The Slumberkins® social-emotional curriculum was developed by an educator and a therapist to help children build emotional intelligence, empathy, conflict management, and communication skills. We want all of our children at Monkey Feet Daycare to learn what it means to be part of a thriving community and we believe that starts with teaching and modeling the tools for safe and secure attachments.
